Breach data is loaded as one-way keyed hashes, so the service can answer “was this address in a breach?” without keeping a readable copy of anyone’s email address or phone number.
On top of classic lookups, pwnedtool adds domain scanning, batch checks, a password strength analyser, breach alerts, report export and a remediation checklist for every type of exposed data.
